LIZZIE & JUAN AT EL PRESIDIO AND CASA DE LA GUERRA

Juan & Lizzie’s wedding weekend was jam packed with fun activities starting off with a welcome bbq at Manning Park the day before their wedding, followed by a casual and relaxing beach day the day after, which was much needed and well deserved after the wedding festivities concluded!

These two were incredibly sweet and I enjoyed working with them and getting to know them over the 8 months we spent planning their wedding day, which took place at two historical landmarks in Santa Barbara - El Presidio Chapel and Casa de la Guerra.

The couple also included several friends and family members to assist with some of the wedding planning tasks including flower arranging, picking up decor and supplies, and even hanging paper lanterns over the dance floor. They also enlisted friends to sing and play music for their ceremony as well as appointed two friends to perform the ceremony. It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to support Juan & Lizzie and made the day even more special.

These stunning photos from Brightbird Photography show a few of the highlights from their beautiful summer wedding last year. I was thrilled and honored to be part of their journey to becoming husband and wife, to guide them and help them bring their vision to life, and to witness the the joy and the bond they share that was so intoxicating to watch. It was truly a spectacular day and one I will never forget!

Thank you to our vendor partners for helping make this a special and memorable day for our bride and groom!
