ELLEN & TROY’S NEW YEAR’S EVE WEDDING AT THE SANTA BARBARA MUSUEM OF NATURAL HISTORY

Ellen and Troy planned a fun wedding celebration at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History on the last day of 2023! The ceremony was held in the Wooded Area, a beautiful outdoor space just over the bridge across Mission Creek, surrounded by nature with 200 friends and family members in attendance.

After the ceremony, guests sipped on cocktails and snacked on a delicious grazing tables with a variety of fruits and cheeses before heading inside Fleishman Auditorium for a casual dinner provided by DJs Catering. The buffet included two food stations - a pasta bar and a taco bar as well as an assortment of after dinner treats displayed on the dessert table.

The evening continued with a few toasts from the Bride and Groom’s parents as well as the best man who all gave very thoughtful speeches about the special bond Ellen and Troy share, and their journey to becoming husband and wife. For the first dance song, the couple chose a rendition of Auld Lang Syne. By the end, all their guests had joined in to kick off the dance party.

Santa Barbara local band, Area 51 entertained the crowed with their high energy, upbeat tunes throughout the night. At 9pm, everyone rang in the new year (East Coast time) with a glass of champagne!

This was a wonderful and heartfelt wedding with festive details and personal touches. I was incredibly honored and thrilled to have been part of this special day and to end my 2023 season celebrating these two beautiful humans!
